6-foot-6, 230-pound right-handed pitcher that is headed to the Super 60 Showcase on Sunday. Committed to Virginia Tech after his performance at the Top Prospect Games. Big imposing mound presence. Has high front side knee kick. Gets good arm extension on both front and backside with differing 3/4 to low 3/4 arm slot. Gets good lower base with hip pop in follow through. Fastball explodes in zone, ranging 86-89 mph with late life and occasional cut action. Has excellent arm action on 79-80 mph changeup with some run action. Has slider that shows late bite on good ones (77-80 mph). One of top power arms in Ohio for the Class of 2013.
