Despite returning only 4 starters from last years upper state finals team Wren will look to two of the top players in the 2019 class to solidify their efforts. Clemson recruit Ryan Ammons (LHP, 2019) will be the front man for the rotation and reigning Region 1 POY Carter Willis (OF/LHP, 2019) is back for his SR season. Boyd Gambrell (INF, 2019) and Will Kelly (SS, 2019) will help bring some needed experience to the roster. Coach Thompson’s teams are always well coached and pitch well and this team should be a reflection of that. If the Hurricanes can overcome their youth, this talented roster could make another playoff run.
