Extenuating circumstances last Tuesday kept us from selecting a Team of the Week for the previous week (and there were certainly some deserving teams). Thus, for our Team of the Week selection this week, we are going to consider games played from March 21-April 2 to make that selection.

On the strength of a nine-game winning streak, Central Hardin stands at 11-1 on the season. Since March 21, the Bruins have compiled a 7-0 record that includes a win over Ballard (ranked No. 1 at the time), and run-rule victories over PRP and Eastern. During that seven game span, the Bruins have outscored their opponents by a whopping 75-15 margin. They have failed to score double digit runs just once in their last eight games, a 9-7 victory over Shelby County.

Central Hardin began the season ranked No. 20 in our Power 25 and have climbed steadily to the No. 11 spot. They are on a collision course with the top ten when the rankings are updated again next Monday.

For their outstanding performance on the field, the Central Hardin Bruins have been selected as the Team of the Week for games played March 21-April 2.
