Top-20 Profiles of 2019: No. 20 Colton Smith

We'll be spending the rest of the month detailing the players who earned the most clicks to their profiles throughout 2019 ending with the state's most-viewed profile of the year, set to be released on Dec. 31. Today marks the start of our countdown of the top-20 most-viewed profiles of 2019, beginning with RHP Colton Smith from Bennington. 

Smith had a strong 2019 across the board making his commitment to Creighton back in March and then leading Bennington to the 2019 Class B State Championship in May. Smith is ranked #11 in the class of 2020 rankings for Nebraska. With a fastball that will reach the upper 80s and a breaking ball in the mid 70s, Smith went 5-2 with a 3.02 ERA during the spring season. Smith is ranked #11 in the class of 2020 rankings for Nebraska.
