Ginaven has an imposing presence on the mound at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds. The delivery is simple and he works downhill with a compact, clean arm action. He has a three-pitch mix that includes a mid-80s fastball, topping out at 89, an 11/5 curveball at 70-74 that he can throw for strikes, and a mid- to upper-70s changeup with impressive sink.
