As we head into the fall, we are beginning to see tons of 2024 graduates make commitments to play at the next level. Indiana's 2024 class features a deep crop of talent, with plenty of prospects still left on the board. Today, we take a deeper look at '24 RHP/OF Brendan Ealy of Center Grove HS.

Ealy is a unique prospects, offering upside on the mound with an athletic frame and raw arm talent. A wiry, athletic 6-foot-1, 170 pounder - Ealy's quick arm speed stands out during an athletic delivery. Ealy will sit in the mid-to-upper 80s (T 89 mph) on a fastball that flashes carry and pairs well with a slider that shows tons of late bite, consistently spinning at over 2,600 RPM's ( T 2,971) at 75-78 mph, making the slider a potential plus pitch with continued development. Ealy is just starting to gain experience on the mound, also a standout defensive CF with a plus run tool (6.68 60), which makes him even more exciting as a potential prospect on the mound when considering his advanced athleticism and low-mileage arm.
