As we head into the fall, we are beginning to see tons of 2024 graduates make commitments to play at the next level. Indiana's 2024 class features a deep crop of talent, with plenty of prospects still left on the board. Today, we take a deeper look at '24 RHP/1B Ethan Goodin of Evansville Mater Dei HS.

Goodin immediately passes the eye test offering immense physicality. The 6-foot-5, 240 pounder offers two-way capabilities as both a hitter and a right-handed arm. Goodin has raw arm strength and will sit in the mid-80s (T 87 mph) on a fastball with some life and he pairs it with a slurvey, mid-70s breaking ball that he has feel for. At the dish, the physical right-handed hitter possesses immense bat speed with present power to his pull-side. The swing works short & direct, steep at times, but he is able to create leverage out front to backspin the baseball.
