PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?

Baker: There have been 7 different division I programs that have expressed interest.  I’ve also been in touch with several NAIA schools and a couple juco teams at this point.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?

Baker: I’ve taken 2 visits, and I will probably be setting up more in the near future. I have not visited any juco or naia schools.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Baker:  I’d like to go to a school that has a good finance program, and I would like the school to be mid sized - not too small.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?

Baker: During my junior year I hit .322 including 10 extra base hits. I’ve started to hit the ball harder and more consistently, lately I’ve been hitting more balls off the fence and several home runs throughout the year.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?

Baker: Some of my goals this year are getting up to 90 mph across the infield, and leading my team in offensive production. And to be a strong leader for the younger guys coming up.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Baker: I also used to play quarterback on the football team up until my junior year.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?

Baker: I currently have a 3.4 GPA and a 20 on my ACT, but I’m working on getting my ACT up to a 22.
