PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?

Dehne: Cal Poly, Central Michigan, NDSU, and a few other D1 and D2 schools.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?

Dehne: I visited Central Michigan and will visit a few other D1 and D2 schools later in the fall.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Dehne: I looking for school that will be a good fit both for baseball and academics.  For baseball I’m looking for a program that can help me continue to develop and I’m thinking about studying kinesiology so a school with a strong program in that area.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?

Dehne: My biggest highlight was being named a captain and helping my team make it to state for the 3rd year in a row. As an individual player I was proud that all my areas of play improved from the previous year.  I also became my school’s all-time career leader in runs scored.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?

Dehne: I want to continue on becoming stronger, faster, and making it back to state.  I want to keep focusing on the little things that will help me improve as a player.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Dehne: I used to play basketball but now I just concentrate on baseball.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?

Dehne: ACT 23 / GPA 3.4
