Scouting Report

7/8/18 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Open setup, loose hands at the plate creates bat speed. Above average feel for the barrel, hard contact off of aggressive path. Defensively hands played reliably, guided throws at times.

3/17/18- 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.02 runner. Open stance, body load, sneaky strength in frame, flashes pop to pull side of field, 93 mph exit velocity. Light on his feet, sure hands, appropriate footwork, flashed arm strength across, accurate to bag, solid overall actions in field, 89 mph arm across infield.

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?

Koehn: So far I have talked to various schools at the D1,D2, D3 and Juco level.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?

Koehn: As of right now I have not taken any visits and I do not have any planned.  Although I look forward to visiting schools this summer.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Koehn: In terms of academics, I want a school with my desired major which would be computer science/engineering or a video editing/producing degree. In terms of a baseball team, I want a team with good culture and guys that will be my best friends for life.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your sophomore year?

Koehn: Winning a state championship, making varsity as a sophomore, being named all conference, and leading our team in hitting

PBR: What are your goals for this year?

Koehn: My personal goal is to make the all state team. Team goals include repeating as conference champs and going back to state.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Koehn: No, but I played basketball until my sophomore year. I still play intramural basketball.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?

Koehn: ACT: 26 (Superscore 27) GPA: 3.42
