Uncommitted 2021 OF Jayden Smith had a very solid showing at 2019 Future Games for Team Arizona. At a medium, 5'9, 160 lbs frame, schools shouldn't be afraid of this kids size. He packs a bigger punch and has more pop & strength than his frame shows. This athlete shows signs of being a natural hitter with a locked in approach to playing the game. Smith is a high on base guy that shakes up the defense with his speed and high motor.

5’9 160-pound frame. Narrow, tall set up sinking into his legs while loading. Small leg kick to get into back side. Keeps bat flat throughout load and swing, working into the zone early and keeping him on plane. Middle approach, finding the barrel frequently in game play. Exit velo at 87 MPH. Arm at 77 may limit him to left field but runs well enough to play center. 6.7 60.
