The Outlook: Valadez came on to the PBR scene at the Milwaukee Preseason ID Showcase last February showing a live arm and good feel for his curveball. This past spring at Milwaukee Riverside he went 5-2 with a 2.75 ERA while striking out 65 in 43.1 innings pitched. If his command continues to improve he can help a staff at the next level.

Scouting Report: 2/28/16 - 6-foot-1, 198-pound right-handed pitcher, average loose frame, showed athleticism. Slight drop and drive type delivery, works online in rhythm. Arm action is short and quick, over the top slot. Fastball showed finish, ranged 82-85 mph, touched 86 mph, solid feel. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 71-74 mph, stayed down, tight some. Changeup thrown aggressively with arm speed. Ranged 72-79 mph, more strikes at the slower end of that velocity.
