Unsigned Senior Spotlight: MIF JT O'Reel (Woodford County HS)

Today's spotlight is on JT O'Reel from 2012 State Champion Woodford County HS.

O’Reel is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound MIF who is the No.72 ranked player in the class of 2013. He shows good athleticism and actions in the infield with fluid footwork and a clean exchange.  He has playable arm strength across the field, registering at 78 mph at our Unsigned Senior Games Showcase. 

At the plate, O’Reel hits from a slightly open stance and squares up his front side.  He showed a smooth load, short stride, and line drive swing path creating solid, consistent contact.  Additionally, O’Reel ran a 7.25 60 on a slow track.

Look for O'Reel to provide solid defense up the middle as Woodford County attempts to win back to back state championships behind a solid returning roster including power pitcher Clinton Hollon, the No.2 ranked player in Kentucky and No.3 overall in the PBR 8 state coverage area.
