Today we take a look at unsigned senior RHP Kyle Olliges.  At 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, Olliges has a projectable frame with long legs.  He features an 83-86 mph fastball with good arm side run and a 72-74 mph curveball that shows good depth.  Last spring for Pleasure Ridge Park, Olliges compiled a 7-1 record with a 2.43 ERA, striking out 48 and walking only 15 in 49 innings pitched.  As evidenced by his walks to innings pitched ratio, it's easy to see that Olliges is around the strike zone consistently. 

With the loss of last year's ace Andrew Bramley to graduation (now pitching at Murray State), look for fellow senior RHP Hunter Johnson (Murray State recruit) and Olliges to lead the Panthers on the mound.  With that 1-2 punch in place, PRP will once again be one of the favorites to emerge from Region 6 and advance to the State Tournament in Lexington.
