For the sixth week in a row, Liberty Christian Academy is in the top spot in the Power 25 rankings as the Bulldogs swept their week, including winning for a second time against the No. 4 ranked Miller School. Hickory moves up to No. 3 with wins over No. 17 Atlantic Shores Christian and Landstowne. James River and Loudoun Valley also enter the Top 5 as they remain undefeated on the season. The Vikings added three more shutouts this week, bringing their total to nine for the season.

Western Branch lost a tight game to Woodside in the seventh inning on Friday and St. John’s lost on Saturday as they both dropped out of the Top 5. Millbrook and Lee-Davis moved into the Top 10 with perfect weeks.

The middle of the rankings saw Hanover fall to Glen Allen, Deep Run fall to Douglas Freeman, and Freeman lose to Atlee. James Madison posted dominant wins over Hayfield and Washington & Lee.

Benedictine entered the Top 20 with a close loss to No. 4 Miller School and wins over No. 18 Steward and Goochland. Greenbrier Christian also entered the Top 20 with a 5-0 week including a win over Covenant.

Oakton fell to No. 25 after losses to Chantilly and McLean. Entering the rankings this week is Bishop O’Connell, which had a great week, with wins over Good Counsel, Bishop Ireton, Paul VI, and No. 4 St. John’s.
