#1 Lake Central 8 Valparaiso 0 - Taylor Lehnert threw a complete game two-hit shutout. Lehnert struck out 12 and walked one. Adam Fulk led LC offensively with two hits, three runs and a RBI. Nick Kellams and Anthony Fushi both had two RBI and Chase Fieldhouse tripled.

#4 New Albany 7 Evansville Reitz 3 - Josh Rogers collected the win in Game 1, going six innings and allowing just one hit. He struck out 11 batters and walked three, gving up just one earned run. Logan Striegel and Jordan Striegel each drove in two runs.

#4 New Albany 11 Evansville Reitz 1 - Logan Striegel was 2-3 and Zach Worrall was 2-for-3 with two RBI. Brady Parr hit a home run. Brandon Johnson got the win in a complete-game effort, striking out seven and walking none. 

#6 Homestead 10 FW Northrop 1 – Josh Thompson threw six innings allowing just one run and striking out three to get the win. Mike Redden tripled and drove in four runs and Matt Volz was 2-3 with a double and three RBI. Brandon Soat and Andre Jernigan both had two hits and drove in a run.

#6 Homestead 8 FW Northrop 6 – Andre Jernigan was 2-4 with three RBI, Austin Plasterer was 3-4 with a double and three runs, and Nick Denice was 2-4 with two RBI. Mike Redden had another four RBI game.

#7 Huntington North 2 Bellmont 1 – Trevor Storie got the complete game win allowing just five hits and striking out six. Cody Frazier was 2-3 with a triple and two runs and Mitch Trieglaff doubled and drove in a run.

Bellmont 3 #7 Huntington North 1 -  Matt Chronister got the win working all seven innings allowing five hits and striking out three. Matt Stidham was 2-3 with a run and Brian Fullenkamp drove in two runs.

#8 FW Carroll 6 FW Snider 2 – Mason Neuman threw a no hitter allowing two runs, two walks, and striking out nine. Tanner Ginder was 2-4 with a double and three RBI. Peyton Lengacher and Matt Kowalsky both had two hits, Lengacher doubled and drove in a run.

FW Snider 3 #8 FW Carroll 2 – Snider scored three in the top of the 7th to get the win. Jared Harvey threw all seven innings allowing two runs on eight hits and striking out five. He was also 2-4 with the game winning RBI. Ryan Degitz was 2-2 with two RBI.

#9 Columbus North 9 Hauser 0 - (2014) Dillon Cowan moved to 2-0 on the mound with 3 innings pitched and gave up 1 hit. (2015) Devin Mann paced the Bulldog offense with a HR, 3B, and a single. (2013) Jesse Tompkins went 2-2 with a double and (2012) Preston Shelton also had a double.

#12 Pendleton Heights 13 Delta 7 – Parker Aul led the offense going 3-5 with a double and three RBI.  Hunter Cook and Nick Hendershot both had two hits, Cook drove in one and Hendershot drove in two. Taran Temple had three RBI and Kyle Cox had two RBI for Delta.

#12 Pendleton Heights 11 Delta 1 – Mitch Patishall threw a complete game two hitter, striking out ten. He also drove in two runs. Augdan Wilson was 2-3 with three runs and two RBI and Hunter Cook was 2-3 with a double and three RBI.

#13 Andrean 4 Marian Catholic 0 - Jimmy Tarala (2013: uncommitted) threw a complete game, 1 hit, shutout. The Andrean defense was flawless as Tarala coaxed Marion into 15 groundball outs and 6 flyball outs while walking none and striking out none. Brandon Pavlina was 1-2 with a RBI and a run.

#16 Mishawaka Marian 8 Washington 5 – Drew Hasler picked up the win going all seven innings. Chris Ross drove in two runs.

#23 Hamilton Southeastern 5 #17 Brownsburg 3 – Jacob Kowal got the win going all seven innings allowing six hits and striking out four. Joel Naab and Justin Striebel each had two hits and drove in a run. Wes Edrington also had two hits and Tre Gantt doubled.

 

#17 Brownsburg 4 #23 Hamilton Southeastern 3 – Isaac Sampen picked up the win going all seven innings allowing four hits and striking out six. He was also 2-2 at the plate with two RBI and a run scored. Bobby Carr also had a RBI.

#20 Evansville North 4 Evansville Bosse 2 - Senior Alex McCune had a 3 run inside the park home run in the first inning. Junior Curran Davis got his first win and Devin Williams picked up the save.

Beech Grove 3 Franklin Central 1 – Andrew Sparks threw a complete game to pick up his third win of the season.

Lapel 5 Frankton 2 – Evan Mohr picked up the win working six innings allowing just two hits and no earned runs while striking out nine. Mohr was also 2-3 with a double and two RBI. Scott Silvey was 2-2 with three RBI and Adam Taylor was 2-4 with a double.

Seymour 10 Jennings County 5 - Seymour pounded out 13 hits with Gabe Jordan getting two doubles as the Owls beat visiting Jennings County on Friday. Logan Hill, Jordan, and Zach Brown each had two hits and Brown got the win on the mound going 5 innings striking out 5. 

 

Seymour 4 Clarksville 3 - Billy Rayburn went the distance striking out 7, giving up 5 hits, and walking none. Gabe Jordan went 2-3 with a double and an RBI.

Seymour 10 Clarksville 0 - Logan Richey got the win going all 5 giving up 2 hits, 2 strikeouts, and 2 walks.  Zach Brown went 3-4 with 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored, Holdan Fleetwood went 3-3 with a double and 2 runs scored, John Burton went 2-3 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI and Logan Hill had a triple and an RBI.   

Northfield 10 Argos 0 - Ryan Keaffaber threw a six inning perfect game striking out 15 and throwing just 69 pitches, 54 strikes. Tanner Chamberlain and Joseph Ross both had three hits, two for doubles. Chamberlain drove in two and Ross drove in one. Adam Roser and Jared Kirtlan each had two hits.

Northfield 11 Argos 1 – Joseph Ross threw a complete game allowing just two hits and striking out 11 in seven innings. Hunter Wells was 2-3 with two RBI and Andy Roser tripled and drove in a run.

Charlestown 13 Switzerland County 0

Charlestown 13 Switzerland County 3 - The Pirates took two on the road to up their record to 10-4 on the season while getting a masterful no-hit performance on the mound in game 1 of the DH from SR Tregg Scherer.  Scherer allowed no hits, while walking 2 with 7 K's to up his record to 3-1 on the mound.  Offensively, the Pirates were led by SR 1B Ryan Gorbandt on the day as he went 4-5 with a double and 5 RBI's. 

Fishers 8 Westfield 0 – Griffin Hulecki (4-1) threw 6 innings allowing 3 hits and 0 runs while striking out 3. Drew Clark hit his 2nd homerun of the season, while Parker Lasch, Clay Small, and Jon Cordell all added RBI doubles.

Fishers 9 Westfield 6 - Cameron VanderBerg led the comeback finishing 2-4 with 5 RBIs, including a 3-run double to break the tie in the 7th. J.P. Pena added 2 hits, including a double, 3 runs, and 2 stolen bases. Clark contributed 3 hits and a run and picked up the win in relief after retiring all 5 batters he faced. Derek Ely kept the Tigers in the game throwing 5.1 innings in relief, scattering 6 hits and allowing 0 earned runs.

Adams Central 5 Monroe Central 4 - Cooper Hill picked up the win on the mound for the Jets.  Dalton Combs worked the 7th to pick up the save. Kyle Baker went 1-2 with 3 RBI, while Isaac Soldner was 1-3 with a triple.  Hill, Combs, Will Schultz, Landon Brunner, Conner Lengerich, and Matt Schwaller each had a hit.

Adams Central 8 Monroe Central 7 – 2013 LHP Dalton Combs notched his 3rd win of the season in relief of the starter, Jaron Bittner, who worked 6 1/3 innings.  Bittner struck out 5 and walked 4 in the game. Kyle Baker knocked home the game winner in the bottom of the 7th propelling the Jets to the victory. Isaac Soldner continued his hot hitting going 3-4 with a double.  Combs, Lengerich, and Brunner each had two hits.

Westview 4 Bethany 0 – Tarin Beachy (win), Hunter Christner (save), Damon Miller, and Adrian Bandenberger combined to throw a one hitter with seven strike outs. Judah Zickafoose had four RBI and Brant Yoder was 3-3 with two runs. Jamar Weaver and Kohle Christner both had two hits.

New Palestine 10 Greenfield Central 0 – Brian Page got the win working all six innings allowing two hits and striking out four. Page was also 2-2 with a triple. Cameron Clark was 2-4 with a triple and three RBI and Ryan Evans was 2-2 with a double and two RBI.

New Palestine 7 Greenfield-Central 1 – Reid Clark threw a complete game three hitter allowing no earned runs while striking out seven. AJ Rejer and Brian Page both went 2-3 with a RBI.

Center Grove 18 Ben Davis 4 – Josh Piper and Brad Walker both went 3-4 with a double, Piper drove in two and Walker drove in three. Brock Sokolowski was 2-3 with four RBI and Brock Koehler was 2-4 with a double and two RBI.

Greenwood 6 Franklin 4 F/9 – Tyler Beck threw eight innings to pick up the win giving up three hits, not allowing an earned run, and striking out five. Alex Krupa was 4-5 with three runs and Connor Beidelman was 2-3 with a double and four RBI.

Greenwood 5 Franklin 4 – Greenwood put up three runs in the bottom of the 7th to get the win. Landon Fink was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, Tylor Martin was 2-2 with a run, and Mitch Monroe was 1-1 with two RBI.

Triton Central 5 West Vigo 0 – David Chapman threw a complete game one hitter, walking five, and striking out 13. Quinn Schneider was 3-3 with two RBI and Derek Arbuckle and Austen Pitman both went 2-3.

Delphi 2 Carroll (Flora) 1 – Erik Carpenter threw a complete game allowing five hits, one unearned run, and striking out four. Matt Brown was 2-3 with a double and two runs scored. Kolby Myer drove in a run and Ostin Clark doubled.

Fremont 8 Mendon (MI) 5 – Glen McClain was 2-4 with two doubles, two runs, and two RBI. Matt Hoff was 2-3 with a double and RBI.
