A Look back at 2010's Top 10

The 2010 class is off to a great start with each member of the top 10 earning an opportunity to play early in their young careers. It should be interesting to look back at this class in a couple of years and see how they have progressed at the next level.

Justin O'Conner, Tampa Bay Rays: O?connor was the 31st pick for the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2010 MLB draft.

Conrad Gregor, Vanderbilt University: Conrad could always hit throughout his high school career, and he is continuing to do so at Vandy.

.348 BA, 1HR, 5 RBIs, 10BB, started 8 out of 14 games

Nolan Sandburn, University of Arkansas: Sandburn is continuing to show why he was regarded as a top prospect coming out of high school.

 3 app, 3.2 IP, 7ks, opp BA .067

Alex Chitenden, University of Louisville: Chitenden is a smooth fielding shortstop, and was considered by many as the best defensive short stop to come out of Indiana in quite some time. He has proven to hold that true by earning the opening day job for a top 25 team in the country.

 .097 BA, 3 hits, 2RBI, .917 Fielding %

Jeffery Thompson, University of Louisville: Thompson is a big 6-foot-7 inch power pitcher with a strong arm and plus slider.  The Cardinals recognized early how special this young man really was.

 3app, 3.1 IP, 3Ks 2 hits, opp BA .167

Justin Glass, University of Cincinnati: Glass led F.W. Carroll to a 4A state title in 2010. He proved to be one of the top hitters coming out of the 2010 class, and his bat has yet to cool off.

9 games, .429 BA, 15 hits, 2HRs, 10 RBIs

Steven Rice, Vanderbilt University: Rice was regarded as the most competitive pitcher in the 2010 class. He was feared for his ability to pitch inside and get outs. In limited innings, this is holding true for Rice at Vandy.

 2 app, 1 IP, opp BA .000

Matt Reida, University of Kentucky:  Reida committed early to the Wildcats, and he is showing why he was such a prized recruit by getting early playing time in the SEC.

 11games, 5 hits, 3RBI, .972 Fielding %
