Lindbergh HS standout Will Spatzfaden (right) committed to Jefferson College this week. The 6-foot-1, 172-pund LHP/OF went 5-4 with a 1.98 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 56 innings last season, and comes into 2011 as the ace of the Lindbergh staff. At the plate, Spitzfadden batted .423 with 22 RBIs.

SS Jake Mavropoulos from University City HS has committed to the University of Chicago. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Mavropoulos batted .429 with 9 homeruns and 42 RBIs as a junior.

RHP Mark McClelland from Holt HS and Jefferson College will be heading to Missouri State next season. Currently, McClelland is 2-0 in 12.2 innings pitches with 8 strikeouts and holding opponents to a .250 batting average.
