We?ve said all along that the Class of 2011 is one of the best we?ve seen in a long time ? and after the offseason evaluation period, we couldn?t be more certain of that fact. This senior class has more than 150 Division I-caliber players, lending further proof of the remarkable depth across Illinois.

New Trier OF Charlie Tilson heads the class, followed by Downers Grove South RHP Nick Burdi, Oak Forest OF Tim Barry, Teotopolis LHP Derek Thompson, Hersey RHP Joe Perricone and Rock Falls RHP/SS Jake Junis. Since the last rankings were released, several players have seen their stock soar; most notably, Galesburg RHP Tyler Farrell, who put on a show at the Super 60 Pro Showcase with his 90-92 mph fastball and sharp curveball.
