The new Class of 2012 player rankings have been released. Although it was extremely difficult to do, we rank the top 125 players in the junior class. Several players saw their stock skyrocket in the offseason, especially after the loaded Prep Baseball Report Preseason All-State Invitational.

The top of the class remained relatively the same, with Marian Catholic LHP Brett Lilek staying at No. 1 ? but not by much. Following closely behind Lilek are Brother Rice SS/RHP Ryan Koziol (Arizona), Jacobs RHP Henry Gigeous (Oregon), Oak Forest RHP Kyle Funkhouser (Louisville), Westminster Christian RHP Kevin Elder, Highland Park C Jason Goldstein (Illinois) and Simeon C Blake Hickman. Carmel LHP Alex Young has vaulted into the No. 9 spot, followed by Stevenson SS Adam Walton (Illinois).   

Other big risers in the class include Lake Zurich RHP Mike Lutz, Aurora Christian OF Mitchell Holtz, Lake Park C/RHP John Schram and Schlarmann RHP Tyler Brennan.
