Pitchers dominate the Tuesday April 19th recap

No. 3 Parkway South (14-0-1) won a weather shortened game against Lafayette 8 to 6. Anthony Duke homered in the win. Jordan Crosley picked up the win in relief.

No. 4 SLUH (10-) defeated No. 11 Vianney (13-4) 4 to 2 behind a stellar performance by Sasha Kuebel. Click here for more on this game.

No. 5 Francis Howell (15-2) beat up on Timberland 10 to 0. Brett Graves (the No. 6 player it the PBR Class of 2011 rankings) allowed one hit and struck out ten batters, while going two for three at the plate with a homerun. Case Munson continued his hot hitting going two for two with an RBI and two runs scored.

No. 9 Oakville (11-2) beat Mehlville 8 to 1.  Maryville University bound Chad Gendron threw a complete game, allowing two hits and striking out twelve batters. Shawn Buckman led the Oakville offense going two for three with two RBIs and one run scored.

No. 17 Boonville (10-3) defeated Moberly 14 to 9.

Strafford defeated Spokane 10 to 0 behind Connor Wilson?s two run homerun and Ethan Highley?s one hitter.

Purdy HS won 15 to 5 in five innings. Purdy?s offense was led by Cody Hall who went three for three with a homerun and three RBIs and Cameron Terry?s two for three day with three RBIs.

Kickapoo came back to beat Glendale 12 to 5. Jacob Hall had a three run homerun for Kickapoo and Alex Lawson picked up the win in relief, throwing three scoreless innings.

Adam St. Peter led Joplin to a 5 to 4 victory against Hillcrest. St. Peter helped himself out at the plate going one for three with a triple and two RBIs. Cody Sadler chipped in going two for three with three RBIs. On the mound, St. Peter threw a complete game giving up five hits and four runs, while striking out six.
