Prep Baseball Report Player of the Week

Congrats to Travis Bittle from No. 1 Rock Bridge HS on being named the Prep Baseball Report Player of the Week. During the week of April 11-18, Bittle went 9 for 18 with an impressive 15 RBIs. On the mound, the Turman State bound Bittle threw 9 innings allowing 3 earned runs and fanning 11 batters.

"Travis had one of the best weeks I can remember for a high school player. I knew something good was going to happen for him as I have never seen him so focused," according to head coach Justin Towe on Bittle's performance. "He didn't make an easy out all week, with several of his RBIs coming with two outs. If not for a couple of fielding miscues, he would have two wins on the mound as well."
