Friday and Saturday Scores

 
No. 1 Cathedral 11 Homestead 2
McCarty picked up the win throwing five inning allowing two runs on six hits and striking out six, he also went 2-4 and scored twice. Flood and Sparks both had two hits and drove in three and four runs respectively. Soat went 2-3 at the plate for Homestead and scored once.
 
No. 2 Bloomington South 6 Rockford (MI) 5
Caleb Baechtold picked up the win throwing four innings giving up just one run on four hits and three strikeouts. Kevin Swango homered for southa dn Jake Kelzer had an RBI double.
 
No. 3 Penn 2 No. 15 Andrean 0
Tyler Thompson and Max Andresen combined to throw a four hit shutout, Thompson picked up his second win of the year. Kyle Schneider doubled in the first run and Sam Sweeden singled in the other run.
 
No. 5 Lake Central 4 Highland 0
Jordan Polito went five innings and Marcus Rosselli threw the last two innings to combine for a shutout.
 
No. 8 Jeffersonville 3 Castle 2
Castle out hit Jeffersonville eight to five, but Jeffersonville was able to push across the runs to pull off the win.
 
No. 9 FW Carroll 8 Fishers 3
No. 9 FW Carroll 8 Fishers 5
Downs picked up the win and threw a complete game for Carroll in game one. Wilson went 1-3 and drove in three runs for Carroll. Timmerman had a 2-3 day at the plate for Carroll and scored twice. J.P. Pena and Ant Roach both had two hit days for Fishers.
 
In game two Fishers held a 4-2 lead going into the bottom of the 5th, but Carroll put up six runs and was able to hold the lead for the victory. Remesnik picked up the win for Carroll pitching three and a third innings not allowing an earned run. Shelmadine went 2-2 with a HR, two runs, and a RBI for Carroll. Wilson (3-4) and Vanlandingham (two RBIs, two runs) also had productive days at the plate for Carroll.
 
No. 19 Northview 9 Martinsville 0
Northview only allowed one hit and scored in every inning they batted in. The offense was lead by Cody Girton (2-4, two 2Bs, three runs), Joey Thomas (2-4, two runs), and Zac Niehaus (3-4 two RBIs).
 
Hamilton Southeastern 10 SB Washington 4
Jacob Kowal threw six innings to pick up the win allowing four runs, he also went 3-3 at the plate and drove in three runs. Mitch Roman hit two doubles and drove in two for HSE. Sean Green also picked up a double and drove in two runs for HSE. Alex Kohler and Zach Fozo each had two hits for SB Washington.
 
North Posey 7 South Spencer 6
North Posey won on a suicide squeeze by Keith Patton. Patton went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs. Scheller and Bender both provided two run homeruns for North Posey in the win. Hall provided a lot of the offense for South Spencer hitting two run homeruns in the 3rd and 5th.
 
Greensburg 4 South Ripley 3
Vanderbur went six innings allowing six hits and striking out six to pick up the win, he also drove in two runs. Kane pitched the seventh to record the save. Meyer and Schultz each hit homeruns for Greensburg.
 
Lawrenceburg 10 Madison 9
Lawrenceburg came from behind to pull off the victory. Madison had two hits games from Donnie Malcomb (two RBIS, four runs), Evan Hackney (two BBs), Ryan Thurston (2B, R, SB), and Hunter Brown (two RBIs).
 
Evansville Bosse 12 Booneville 2
Bosse had ten hits and grabbed the win in six innings. Langley drove in a two run homerun for Bosse.
 
Gibson Southern 11 Evansville Central 9
Both teams put up big first innings of offense Central scored four in the top and Southern came back with five in the bottom. Stonestreet hit a two run homerun in the top of the 7th for Central, but that was all they could get. Southern had homeruns from Lantirt (three run) and York (solo) to propel the offense.
 
Wayne City 7 New Harmony 3
Wayne City scored three runs in the second and the third innings to lead them to victory. Burgess hit a two run homerun in the 3rd for Wayne City.
 
Forest Park 8 Tecumseh 3
Forest Park scored five runs in the first inning and that would be enough for them to win. They picked up 13 hits in the game.
 
Forest Park 11 Evansville Mater Dei 7
Both teams scored three runs in the first a d Mater Dei took a 6-4 lead into the bottom of the fifth. Forest Park put up six runs in the fifth, including a solo homerun by Wilgus, to take the lead.
 
Wood Memorial 9 Pike Central 1
Wood Memorial had 11 hits and scored in every inning, but the 4th on the way to victory.
 
Mishawaka 5 Westview 4
Mishawaka scored four in the first inning and added a 5th run in the third to win. Westview chipped away, but couldn?t come all the way back. Judah Zickafoose went 2-2 and scored three times for Westview. Jamar Weaver and Adrian Brandenberger both had two hits and drove in two runs for Westview.
 
Niles (MI) 8 Westview 4
Judah Zickafoose had two hits and scored twice for Westview. Lukas Miller and Kohle Christner both drove in two runs for Westview.
 
West Lafayette 6 Terre Haute North 5
Terre Haute North put up four runs in the top of the 7th, but West Lafayette responded and posted four runs in the bottom to win the game.
 
North Central (Farmersburg) 13 Owen Valley 3
Zach Lyday picked up the win and also had three hits, one RBI, three runs, and four stolen bases. Connor Strain contributed three RBIs for NC and Nate Lyday had two hits and a RBI.
 
Shakamak 5 North Daviess 2
Kade Sapp hit two homeruns and drove in all five runs for Shakamak
 
SB Clay 9 Michigan City 3
Mitch Hartman had three hits and drove in two. Eric Kelver scored three times in the win for SB Clay.
