No. 2 Bloomington South 12 Western 10

Kevin Swango had a big day at the plate for South going 2-3 with homerun and five RBIs. Nolan Rogers drove in two and scored three times in the win. Cody Jansen lead the way for Western hitting two homeruns and driving in five.

 
No. 4 Lawrence Central 10 Floyd Central 2
 
LC was led offensively by the home run. Glenn Jones led the game off with a solo shot and Chris Ferguson add a three run homerun in the first. That was all the scoring the starting pitcher Reese Dick needed. He worked 5+ innings of one run baseball. John Jones and Chris Ferguson also added homeruns in the sixth.
 
No. 4 Lawrence Central 14 Jennings County 9
Lawrence Central jumped all over Jennings County in the first two innings. The bears put up 8 in the first two innings behind Brandon Krieg and Bryan Davidson?s homeruns. Jennings Co battled back and made it a 10-9 game in the fourth. To see the Bears add a Jaylen Quarles, and  a Brandon Wind homerun in the 6th to make it 14-9. Darian Smith also added a 2-4 2B, 3B, and four runs scored.
 
Bloomington North 6 Bedford North Lawrence 4
Tyler Hurt picked up the win throwing six innings allowing three runs on three hits and striking out seven. Michael Oliphant had a double and drove in three of North?s six runs.
 
Bloomington North 12 Bedford North Lawrence 2
North needed only four at-bats to get the ten run rule. North?s offense was lead by Tyler Hurt (3-3, two RBIs, two runs), Dylan Pratt (2-3, two RBIs, two runs), Colby Stratten (2-3, three RBIs, run) and Baron Ryan (3-3, RBI, two runs). Clint Jones and Gavin Funkhouser also picked up two hits apiece.
 
Centerville 13 Eastern (Hancock) 6
Centerville had 15 hits in the game and had a big 4th scoring six runs. Westview?s Dalton Korlowicz hit a homerun and had four RBIs. Hunter Brown and Steve Stunda both had two hits in the loss.
 
Eastern (Hancock) 9 Knightstown 3
Eastern scored five in the first to get them going. Lucas Brown went 2-3 at the plate with three runs and a RBI. Clayton Kramer had a good day at the plate going 2-2 with two RBIs and a run. Kyle Kramer and Evan Fout also had two RBIs each in the win.
 
Washington 22 South Knox 3
Washington belted out 19 hits. They scored six, seven and six in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings respectively to cruise to the win.
 
Northridge 14 Westview 4
Northridge used an eight run third inning to help propel them to the 10 run rule in five innings. Austin Schlabach had two hits for Westview, scoring once. Judah Zickafoose and Jamar Weaver also picked up a hit, run and RBI.
 
Guerin Catholic 8 Brebeuf 0
Matt Pletzke threw a three hitter and struck out 18 to pick up the win.
 
Crawfordsville 16 Westfield 3
Minks had a big day at the plate in the win going 3-4, HR, six RBIs, two runs. Rasmussen, Zurawski, and Hobson all scored three times, Hobson also drove in two runs. Burtron and Saldutti both hit homeruns for Westfield.
 
Columbus North 5 Lawrencburg 0
In game 1 Parker Shelton picked up with win throwing a complete game shutout while only allowing three hits. North won the game 5-0. Shelton improves to 2-0 on the year. Coledon Hoeltke hit a 2B.
 
Columbus North 10 Lawrenceburg 2
In game 2 Junior Hunter Mcintosh picked up the win going six innings and striking out eight. He is now 1-0 on the year. Mickey Bell, Coledon Hoeltke, and CJ Dennis all doubled for the CN.
