Dawson Turner: RHP/OF, (2022) Benton, AR. 6-foot-2, 175-pound proportional projectable frame. Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a slow controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Has quick bat speed, short flat swing plane and high finish. Barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid during batting practice, Turner recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Above average in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 83 mph; shows sure consistent hands, a quick natural exchange, and athletic fluid feet. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a long arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.01 in the 60-yard dash. Solid on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a long arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. During his delivery balance point is tall with even shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-78 mph; has consistent control and late action with straight movement. His 11/5 curveball (64-67) has command around the zone and gradual action.

Began in an open stance with a controlled smooth load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is above average, shows a short uphill swing plane and high finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact . Gap to gap approach. Athletic when throwing from the outfield, he showed off his strong arm with throws at velocities of 88 mph;had soft sure hands, consistent rhythmic footwork, and a clean fluid exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball one hand. Showed a high ¾ slot and a long arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a long arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. He has even shoulders and an athletic balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-79 mph; showed slight action and command around the zone with straight movement. Has early action and control around the zone on his 10/4 curveball (63-65). Has a straight changeup (69-72) that shows fading action and around the zone control.
