Hit: LHH. Spread out base, some tightness in the hips, leg kick, slight load, lands closed, one-handed finish. Pull-approach, turns barrel early, hard GB contact.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: Left-handed. INF - 67 mph. Some carry across the damond with developing arm strength. Lengthy transfer with higher release.
Defense: Fields the ball deep, with glove stab & firm hands.
Run: 7.83 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Tall delivery, with big leg lift, dropping while rotating from rubber, lands square. Falls off to 3B side.
Arm Action: Left-handed. Throws from OT slot with long arm action. Raw separation in to tilted shoulders.
FB: T71, 69-71 mph. Straight, some cut.
CB: 56-58 mph. Side spin, some drop.
CH: 64-65 mph.
6-foot-3 180-pounds, lanky frame, long limbs, high waisted, average athleticism. Left-handed, two-way player. Hits from a slight open stance with weight one outsides of his legs. Brings front foot in with slight leg lift, minimal weight transfer. Pull approach, trying to hit the ball in the air. 77mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 8.52 60-yard dash. Fielded balls cleanly. Goes and gets the ball. Arm strength is still developing. Also worked out on the mound with a drop and drive delivery. Throws with a long arm swing with high release point. Threw almost all FB’s in live game action at 72-74mph.
