Body: 5-10, 175-pounds. Smaller athletic build. Well-proportioned but room to add muscle mass throughout. Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance. Rocks onto the backside and uses a simple stride in his forward move. Hands work consistently inside the ball as he lets the ball get deep. A steeper bat path is shown with his 70% ground ball rate. Worked oppo mainly throughout the round. Power: 91mph max exit velocity. Bat speed and rotational acceleration upticks are needed to increase his power. Arm: RH. C - 72.00 mph. 4/5 accurate throwdowns during the workout. Shorter arm action that worked to a higher over-the-top release. The ball came out straight. Average arm strength. Defense: 2.04-2.16 pop times. Throwdown footwork and exchanges were fundamentally sound and quick. Present framing ability. Sets up in a low crouch and showed a quiet glove that minimized movement after receiving. Run: 7.34 runner in the 60.

Positional Profile: C/OF Body: 5-9, 167-pounds.Smaller frame but the athleticism is easy to see Hit: RHH. Simple upright and open stance with hands close at the ear. Medium leg kick that moves towards back leg. Longer swing that works uphill in the zone and through finish. Gap to gap approach. Power: 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Flashed life and carry when he released out in front and tail when not. Mostly accurate throwdowns. Defense: 1.98-2.04 pop times. Sets up in low crouch which helped with pitch framing on low pitches. Orange County Preseason All-State - average build with room for more in a 5-foot-10 160 pound frame. Quality overall showing from one of the younger catchers in the event as he presented projectable skills. Quiet set-up with quick reactions and was able to handle a 2020 pitcher well during the bullpen segment of the showcase. Arm-strength is slightly below average but put a consistent pop-time showing at 2.01-2.12 with 3 of 5 throws at the bag. Offensively is raw but modern swing mechanics show line-drive ability with some pop potential. Overall skill set with down the line projection and ability to play other positions make him a name to watch.
