Positional Profile: SS/OF
Body: 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. Long, frame/bone structure looks to have a chance to hold significant size and strength gains.
Defense: INF - starts low, stays low, patterns feet well, high level focus on the catch before the throw, soft INF hands. OF - Fairly cautious approach to ball, hands not quite as sure in the OF, good angles allowing for on-line throws.
Arm: RH. INF - 67 mph. OF - 76 mph. INF - Focused on accuracy, didn't seem to really let it go, did throw with accuracy, fair arm strength. OF - on-line throws though significantly lacking carry, shorter slot with lower elbow coming out with high-3/4 slot.
Hit: SH. RH - Comfortable setup, feet shoulder width, very slight crouch, hands relaxed in pre-pitch, sinks into legs in pre-pitch as he transfers weight back, bars lead arm in load. LH - similar setup with feet and hand position, similar lower body load and barring of lead arm. RH - Aggressive swing, fairly flat, possesses strength and bat speed, gets behind ball, works to utilize hips and lower body. LH - Flat stroke, loose hands, clearly works on both sides as the swings are very similar. More contact oriented on LH side and more power oriented on RH side.
