vs Pittsburg HS - Uncommitted; Strong lower body, proportioned sturdy build, 3/4 slot, long arm sling-ish arm action, used two pitches exclusively (FB 81-85, slurve 72-73), when locating well the two pitches pare well together w/a FB that runs to inner half and slurve that can buckle a hitter while snapping back to the middle or sweeping off the plate. In this outing the control was off as the slurve was too often backed up and the FB too often riding up and in or yanked off the plate to the glove side. In a rough outing he maintained his composure and will have better days. There is potential to add depth to a college program as a two-pitch reliever with a specialty pitch that is capable of being a swing and miss offering.
