Notes

Comments

11/11/18 - CBA Sacramento tryout - Same body description, saw all the same attributes from previous viewing, definitely believe there is a future on the mound and his energy and enthusiasm for baseball only adds to his future potential. Arm works easily, good mound presence, feel of zone with fastball to both sides of plate with some sink, late slow 11/5 curveball with tight spin, changeup comes out easy. Impressive 87 mph exit velocity as hitter and  75 mph infield throw. He's talented and more athletic than body type suggests.
10/27/18 - NCTB Fall Classic - Full bodied 5-foot-10 210-pounds, has feel for pitching, arm works easily and ball exits easy, ball had length through the zone and was on hitters quicker than they expected, confident young pitcher with usability of full repertoire, displayed good balance and body control, fastball 77-78 mph with some sink and ability to get pitch on both sides of plate, fastball control sets up his best pitch which is 67 mph curveball with late action and two plane break, fun to watch this kid pitch and play. Body will need to firm up and be shaped better and if/when that does happen there is a real player ready to emerge.
