Body: 6-2, 200-pounds. Projectable strong frame. Athleticism throughout.
Hit: RHH. Wider straight-up stance. Slight turning in of torso allows for some coil. Foot gets down early. Downhill shoulders at footstrike. Level path with good extension at finish. Balanced throughout the swing. Pounded LDs to the middle of the field throughout his round. 
Power: 94 mph max exit velocity. Present gap to gap power. Bat speed average of 69.4 mph and rotational acceleration average of 16.5 gs shows potential for future power.
Arm: RH. C - 73.00 mph. 5/5 accurate on throwdowns with 4 of them right on the bag. Quick snappy arm action that flashed some arm-side tail. Average arm strength for level.
Defense: 2.05-2.12 pop times. During throwdowns showed good footwork; aligning his body and direction towards second base. Framing skills were present as well. Worked low-high which allowed him to steal some low strikes.
Run: 7.50 runner in the 60.

Hit: RHH. Balanced stance with hands active at his shoulder. Uses a quick simple stride as hands work down. Dips his back shoulder to help gain leverage under the baseball (73% flyball percentage). Flat-upward compact swing with consistent contact out in front (81% on plane efficiency). Gap to gap approach.
Power: 94 max exit velocity. Present gap to gap power (371ft max distance). Rotational acceleration average of 18.1 gs shows solid power ceiling to then build off.
Arm: RH. C - 75 mph. OF - 84 mph. At C, showed quick short arm action out of the slot. â…˜ accurate throwdowns. In the OF, arm action was slightly longer with throws made on a line for â…˜ accurate one-hops. Above average arm strength at both positions for his level.
Defense: 1.97-2.07 pop times. Quick feet behind the dish on throwdowns and showed above average blocking and receiving skills. In the OF, showed average actions. Clean transfers and played low to the ball. Stutter steps were needed to play through the ball. Uses a mild crow hop to help gain back momentum to get off strong throws.
Run: 7.41 runner in the 60. 

9/23/18 - Rising Stars Showcase - Six-foot-1, 165-pounds, large frame that is long with wiry strength throughout body. Physical and athletic. Behind the plate Snakenborg shows an athletic setup with a wide base. Doesn't go beyond parallel in his crouch. Tends to stab at ball when receiving. Quick and clean exchanges. Arm has present average strength and throws have some carry. When hitting Snakenborg starts with a wide base that is slightly open and hands at his shoulders. A small leg lift triggers the swing in which he shows present bat speed while maintaining his barrel on a consistent plane through the hitting zone for a long time. Stays back through extension and shows a gap-to-gap approach and some present power that really projects. On the mound Snakenborg flashes a potential plus arm with present quick, compact arm action. Does a good job of hiding ball with a pronounced shoulder turn and a high leg kick. Has a true three-pitch mix. Fastball shows downer sinking action to the glove side. Curveball shows late and is tight with downer shape from fastball arm speed. Changeup has plus pitch potential when he's online with it. The pitch shows run to the arm side while he keeps it down in the zone. Snakenborg shows command for all three pitches while keeping them all at or below the knees of hitters.
