Andrew Baum: 1B/3B, (2027) Brookfield, CT. 6-foot, 200-pound athletic mature build. Raw projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 81 mph. (59.1 mph bat speed average). (18.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled toe tap stride. Has above average bat speed, level loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Raw while in the infield, made throws up to 57 mph; has soft hands, developing feet, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Recorded a time of 8.48 in the 60-yard dash.
