Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
5-foot-9, 165-pound infielder. Ran a 7.09 sixty on the laser at the event. The glove is soft in the infield and he moves very to and through the ball. Throws from a lower slot, throwing 76 mph across the diamond at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing. The path is flat and strong to contact, showed a very good feel for the barrel at the event. The barrel stays in the hitting zone a long time. I like him, good player.

5-foot-9, 160-pound, strong, solid, athletic frame. A well proportioned athlete, hands and wrists have above average strength to them. At the plate, hits from the right side, more of a spread out approach, feet are even, hands are loose close to the frame. For timing uses a small controlled knee knock leading into a simple stride. The swing is level to up, gets through the baseball and makes hard consistent contact. The approach is more middle to pull, has enough juice to get the baseball deep into the pull gap, tee exit velocity at 79 mph and ran a 7.12 sixty yard dash. Defensively, good prep steps, gets around the baseball, with momentum moving towards target. Works low to the ground, fields out front, funnels the baseball to mid section. The arm works out of a ¾ slot, more of a flip to the throw, arm was clocked at 75 mph, with more in there when loads and gathers. The turns are clean, especially from second base side of the bag, footwork is advanced and quick. Projects for me as an offensive second baseman, potential to hit at the next level, sleeper.
