Cole Jennings: SS/RHP, (2025) New Milford Highschool, CT. 5-foot-11, 145-pound slim athletic frame. Raw at the plate, the switch hitter recorded an exit velocity of 75 mph. Started in a wide balanced stance with a tight compact load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed was developing, used a level swing plane and a front foot finish. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 69 mph; had a natural exchange, soft hands, and smooth footwork. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. From a ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short arm action. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed with a short loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher and uses easy effort. He has in line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 72-75 mph; had arm side command and sinking action. (Max spin 2020; Avg 1950). Threw his 1/7 curveball (61-62) with slurvey action and glove side command. (Max spin 1788; Avg 1644). His 2/8 slider (63-64) has down in the zone command and late action. (Max spin 1523; Avg 1523).
