6-foot, 180 pounds, average athletic frame. Neck is longer with sloped shoulders, plenty of room for added weight. A right handed hitting first baseman, the stance taller, even, the hands are set at the shoulders with an extended back elbow. The lower half is simple, small pick up and put down with front foot, needs more back side drive. The swing is level through the zone, gets rotational at times, needs to be more linear. Approach is more middle to pull with line drives. The tee exit velocity was 78mph and ran a 4.50 from home to 1st. The hands show to have some strength. Defensively, threw 63mph across the diamond, arm action is slightly longer, working from a higher slot. Clean drop steps on starting the double play, practicing reps will soften the glove. Continued refinement of mechanics with aide in his development.
