6-foot, 200-pound, strong, thick, wide athletic frame, strength throughout. A right-handed hitting catcher, top tool is his bat. Balanced approach in the box, more of a backside, opposite field approach. The feet are even, wider than shoulder width, hands held higher. The swing is down to level, stays through the baseball, with hands being inside the baseball. The rounds of batting practice were hard, had a tee exit velocity of 86 mph, with more in there as he continues to condition. From behind the plate, had a pop time of 2.06-2.19, arm was clocked at 73 mph. The feet are even and wide in the setup, is balanced and gets behind the baseball on the catch. The right-foot replace the left, gets inline, could get one more quarter turn of shoulder to finish off the throw. Solid catch and throw guy, with ability to swing the bat.
