Jack Larkin: RHP/OF, (2025) Trumbull, CT. 6-foot-3, 180-pound athletic lean frame. Above average projectable on the mound, had a ¾ arm angle and a loose clean arm action with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. In line downhill shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 81-83 mph; has arm side control and sinking swing and miss action. (Max spin 2230; Avg 2115). Throws a 1/7 curveball (67-69) that has slurvey action and glove side control. (Max spin 2072; Avg 1998). Has arm side command and fading swing and miss action on his changeup (73-74). Love the pitch-ability, makeup, look for big things from this one.
Jack Larkin: RHP/2B, (2025) Trumbull, CT. 6-foot-2, 165-pound long lengthy frame. Projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 81 mph. (63.2 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed was quick, used a loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap line drive approach. Above average in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 68 mph; had soft hands, athletic footwork, and a clean quick exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short arm action and a ¾ slot. Above average projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a long loose arm action. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher who shows easy effort. In line shoulders and a tall balance point. Lands square with an athletic falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-77 mph; had arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 2090; Avg 2016). Shows arm side command and fading action on his changeup (65-66). He shows late tight action and glove side command on his 2/8 slider (63-65). (Max spin 1945; Avg 1789).
