6-foot, 205-pound, strong, wide, thick athletic frame. A right-handed hitter, balanced throughout, feet are shoulder width apart. The hands are set at shoulder height, back elbow is extended outward, with the bat starting in a tilted position. For timing uses a small controlled leg kick, hands and weight stay back. The swing is down to up, could stay through it more, gets tied up at times. The approach is more middle to opposite, keeps his hands inside the baseball well. Showed the ability to get the barrel to the baseball consistently. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph and ran a 5.31 from home to first. Defensively, gets off the bag well at first, feet are clean around the bag, hands are soft, works from the ground up. The footwork was correct in starting the double play. The arm action is short, clean, throws from his ear. The arm works out of a high ¾ slot, clocked at 68 mph, had good touch on all throws. Strength and conditioning are a must, will help in his development.
