8.23.18

6-foot, 178-pound, average athletic frame, solid, squared off shoulders, good athleticism. A two way player, hits from the right side, setup is relaxed and balanced. The feet are shoulder width, front foot slightly open, hands are loose, bat having tilt in a loaded position. For timing uses a small pickup and put down, gaining ground with stride foot. The swing is flat through the zone, barrel stays in the zone and shows to have above average bat speed, clocked at 91 mph, has whip and life out front. The approach is more to the pull side, showed to have enough juice to get the baseball deep into the pull alley. Took a solid round of batting practice, hard contact. From the outfield, attacks the baseball under control, uses more of a shuffle for the transfer,  arm was clocked at 79 mph from a higher slot. Off the mound, simple delivery, hands start low and work up with controlled leg raise, slight collapse on the backside in gather position. The direction of lead leg is in line to home plate, upper half tends to lean over midsection. The arm action is clean out of a ¾ slot, with action to arm side. The fastball was thrown for strikes at 76-78 mph. The breaking ball was clocked at 60-61 mph, had a bigger top to bottom break. Projects out for me as an outfielder, chance to hit at the next level.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.48

Exit Velocity: 91 MPH

Arm Velocity: 79 MPH

1-15.18

6 foot, 165 pounds, projectable frame with average athletic build. Nyarady has shown physical development over the past year since his last time at a PBR event, adding strength to the upper half. He ran a 7.25 sixty yard dash. At the plate, he stands upright and slightly open. There is some pre-pitch movement with the hands, which work loosely from shoulder height. There is a moderate step into the ball. Nyarady generates bat speed with good hip rotation, finishing strong with two hands. The bat path is level-up. Nyarady showed good pop, hammering line drives with a middle-pull approach. He posted a tee exit velocity at 84 MPH. On defense, he takes long strides when charging the ball. The arm was clocked up to 80 MPH and he gets his body into the throw from a higher slot. Profiles best in an outfield corner.  Off the mound, this right-hander has more of a sinker slider approach, is extremely aggressive and attacks the zone with both pitches, mixing in a change up at times. The delivery has tempo, builds momentum throughout. The arm action is loose, short and clean, works out of a 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 77 MPH, with sinking action to the arm side. The breaking ball is an above average pitch, late spin and bite to it, thrown for strikes and a put away pitch, clocked at 66 MPH. The change up is still a work in progress, clocked at 70-71 MPH, needs to tinker with the grip to get a bit more sinking action. Times to the plate were at 1.37-1.43. Good looking player, performed well on both sides, solid follow on both ends.

60 Time: 7.25

Exit Velocity: 84 MPH

Position Velocity - Outfield: 80 MPH

2-18-17

5-foot-11, 160-pound, the frame is athletic, well proportioned athlete. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has some fast twitch actions to him. A right-handed hitter, the feet are slightly wider than shoulder width, with front foot slightly open. The lower half is under control, has a small leg kick and gains ground with the stride. The hands are set just above shoulder height, bat is tilted in a good starting position. The swing path is level to up, is aggressive to the baseball, gets little long at times, but shows solid bat speed and pop in his hands. Finishes the swing with two hands, with him being aggressive, has more of a pull approach, made solid contact in BP. Defensively, worked out in the outfield, has a really good flow approaching the baseball. The footwork is under control, steps through and gained ground towards his target. The arm action is clean, has average length to it, arm works freely out of a natural ¾ slot. The arm was clocked at 77 mph carry and flight to, has more in there as he gets stronger. Off the mound, this right-handed pitcher has hands start high and move downward with rocker step, they stay low in the gather position. The direction is inline, arm action is short and is aggressive in attacking the catcher/hitter. The fastball has some movement to the arm side, clocked at 74-75 mph, has some late jump to it. The breaking ball was thrown at 58-61 mph, slows down on it, needs to be thrown harder. Showed feel for his change up, clocked at 66-67 mph, had fade and action to the armside. Times to the plate were ok at 1.38.  Good looking athletic kid, get out and see him.
