6-foot, 175-pound, solid, athletic frame. A well proportioned athlete, strength throughout, has some fast twitch to him. The top tool is his arm and ability to swing the bat. At the plate, feet are even and are shoulder width apart. The hands are loose above the shoulders, bat starting in a flat position. For timing uses a toe-tap into a small knee to knee leg kick. The swing works freely through the zone, its a level path, stays through it well, has a high clean finish. The approach is more line drive to the middle of the field. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph, barrel has life and whip out front. Time down the line was very good at 4.39. Defensively, at third base moved well to both sides, hands are soft, clean transfer into a shuffle. The arm action is longer and clean on the back side, comes through at a ¾ slot, clocked at 75 mph across the diamond. The backhand play was made with ease, quick first steps, and slow roller play had good rhythm to it. Off the mound, worked out of the set position, hands start and stayed at the waist, delivery is simple and balanced. The fastball reached 81 mph, baseball comes out of his hand well. The breaking ball was his best pitch, clocked at 69 mph, shape and spin are advanced for his age. The outing was dominant.  Look for big things from this one, time will tell which way he will go.
