5-foot-8, 140-pound, thin, wiry strong, athletic frame. An athlete with some fast twitch actions to him. Defensively, the actions and movements are smooth with rhythm to them. The prep steps and approach to the baseball are proper, works from the ground up, fields the baseball out front, flips glove at times. The arm is loose and clean on the back side, it's short and works freely through release. The arm was clocked at 68 mph with a ton more in there, throws were on target and on a line. Offensively, hits from the right side, is balanced throughout. The stance is slightly open, feet are shoulder width apart, sits just so slightly, uses the lower half well. The hands are loose, start at shoulder height, bat angle is in a good starting position. For timing uses a minimal leg kick, with a toe tap, stride foot gains ground, hands have separation with them from the body. The swing path is level across his chest, stays through the baseball, does a good job keeping the barrel in the zone for a good amount of time. The approach is gap to gap, did a very good job of hitting the baseball where it was pitched. Took two solid rounds of batting practice. Good follow, projects for me as more of a second baseman at the next level, runs ok, strength is a must will aid in his development.
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.22
Exit Velocity: 77 mph
Arm Velocity: 68 mph

At 5-foot-8, 135-pounds, the frame is thin and athletic, has plenty of room to add weight and muscle on. In the field the preps steps were good, needs to keep his feet moving towards his target, at times steps behind, needs to stay inline. The hands are soft, could field ball out front more and transfer from the catch to throwing position is very good. The arm action is very short and quick on the backside with no wasted movement. Arm strength across the diamond was 71 mph, had good flight, has a ton more in his arm. Made the prove move look very easy, when he keeps his body moving, everything comes together, footwork was ok around the bag. At the plate hits with an open to even stance. Hands are loose, the tee exit velocity was 74 mph and ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. The body is very young, strength is a must.
