Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.5. Defense: (IF) Developing hands, developing footwork, clean exchange. Projectable. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front.
Arm: 65 mph infield velocity. Consistent arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.50 (60-yard).
5-foot-10, 180-pound mature, solid, already filling out. Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. Starts in a tall athletic stance with a small controlled load, then uses a controlled stride.Bat speed is explosive, uses an upward loose swing plane and high finish. Created loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap approach. 5-foot-10, 180-pound, strong, solid,athletic frame, showing strength throughout. A right-handed hitter, at the plate, starts with even feet at shoulder width. The hands are held higher, starting with more of a flat setup. A quiet controlled setup, for timing uses a small leg lift, gains ground. The swing is short to contact, a level path, hands are inside the baseball, showing a line drive approach to all fields. The exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph, worth more in there as he continues to add strength. Ran a 4.41 down the line on a dig. Defensively, the glove is super soft, comes through the baseball, hands and feet work well together, smooth actions. The arm was clocked at 66 mph, short arm action from a higher slot, could stride out a tick more. Showed flow to glove side starting double play ball from third base. Continued speed work is a must, shows strength with the bat.
