6/19/19

5-foot-11, 210-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 71-73 mph, minimal arm side action to the fastball. The spin pitch is big in shape, sitting 65-67 mph, needs additional fastball hand speed to the pitch. the changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The arm works clean, showed a lift and go to the plate which is repeated. Threw strikes and competed.

3/06/19

5-foot-10, 198-pound, thick, durable athletic frame, rounded shoulders, lower half has strength. A right-handed pitcher, hands start and stay at mid-chest, slow controlled clean leg raise, weight staying over the backside. The separation is clean, stride is inline, arm action is smooth and clean, working out of natural ¾ slot. The fastball reached 73 mph, threw low strikes with it to both sides of the plate. The change up was the better of the two secondary offerings, clocked at 67-69 mph, works well off his fastball. The breaking ball, is more of a small slider,  clocked at 64-67 mph, gets around it at times, needs to stay behind, a tweak with finger placement will help with a more top to bottom break. Times to the plate were at 1.66. Strength and a regimented throwing program will help in an increase in velocity.
