9/29/19

6-foot, 160-pound, average, lean athletic frame, wider back with room for added weight. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, at the plate, even feet, tilted setup with loaded hands. The swing is flat through contact, finishing high with two hands. For timing uses a clean smooth toe tap. The approach is more middle to pull, has some flight to the baseball. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph, more in there with added strength. Ran the sixty-yard in 7.59. Defensively, threw 73 mph across the diamond from a higher slot. The feet are clean, fielded out front. The actions and movements need to be a tick quicker to stick up the middle. Projects out more at one of the corner positions.

7/17/19

6-foot, 180-pound, average, thin athletic frame, rounded shoulders, with room for future development. A right-handed hitting middle infielder. At the plate, stance is taller, even feet at the shoulders, higher, strong hands starting in more of a tilted position. The lower half is under control, small toe tap into a longer, smooth stride, glides to contact. The swing is down to level, clean across the chest. The approach is line drive, staying in the middle of the field. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph and ran a 4.87 from home to first. Defensively, the hands are soft, fields out front, gains ground with feet, stays through the baseball. Moved well to backhand side, showed feel on open hip play turning two. The arm action is clean, longer path, working out of a high 3/4 slot, clocked at 66 mph. Projects out to play more of the second base side of the bag, strength is needed.
