The hands are set at the shoulders, back elbow gets extended at times, lower half is under control, has a small straight stride. The backside could be engaged more, with transferring the weight from back to front. The swing is flat through the zone and finishes above the shoulders with two hands. The approach is more to the pull side, slight arm bar in the beginning of swing recovers and is on time on contact. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 68 mph and ran a 7.83 sixty -yard dash. Defensively, arm was clocked at 64 mph at first base and threw 65 mph across the diamond from third. The hands are soft on the catch, works low to the ground, and fields out front, feet could continue to move after the throw. The arm works from a lower ¾ slot. Strength conditioning and a regimented throwing program will aid in his development. Projects more as a first base,na long term.
