Andrew Janezic: C/1B, (2027) XAVIER HIGH SCHOOL, CT. 5-foot-11, 143-pound athletic proportional frame. Raw in the box, Janezic had a max exit velocity of 75 mph. (58.1 mph bat speed average). (16.6 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic balanced stance with a big load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed a loose upward swing plane and high finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found some barrels. Up the middle approach. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 66 mph during throw downs; showed athletic quick feet, soft hands, and a clean quick transfer. Some flexibility and athletic setup. Used a high ¾ slot with a short quick arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base.
