Started in a crouched stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick efficient, exhibits a short simple swing plane and level finish. He created some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Fluid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 78 mph; had consistent hands, a clean exchange, and smooth footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.7. Advanced on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a loose clean arm action with good consistent arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. Downhill shoulders and an athletic balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. (Max spin 2017; Avg 1931).
