Zak Joslin: RHP/3B, (2026) New Canaan, CT. 6-foot, 210-pound mature strong frame. Above average at the plate, Joslin was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 89 mph. (67.4 mph bat speed average). (20.8 mph hand speed average). Started in an open wide stance with a high load, then used a short stride. Has explosive bat speed, short upward swing plane and high finish. He found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 76 mph; shows a quick exchange, smooth feet, and soft hands. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 8.0 at the event. Projectable on the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Up-tempo tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Threw his fastball 79-80 mph; has sinking action and arm side control. (Max spin 2162; Avg 2089). Threw a 1/7 curveball (68-69) with glove side command and slurvey action. (Max spin 2017; Avg 1933). His changeup (69-70) has arm side control and fading swing and miss action.
