12.8.18: Strong framed 6-foot-1, 215 pounder. Offensively, the RHH hits from an athletic, crouch setup. Hands load back and down. Toe drag. Partial use of the lower half. Average balance throughout the swing. Above average bat speed. Short swing plane, strong hands, produces gap to gap power.  High exit velocity of 96 mph. On the mound pitches from a short, high 3/4 arm action with some stiffness. Drop and drive delivery with some rhythm. Shoulders work uphill, falls off towards 1B side, lands square. Fastball shows run at 84-85; tendency to miss down in the zone. Breaking ball flashes downer type action and is thrown with fastball arm speed at 73-74.  Changeup is also thrown with fastball arm speed, and kept down in the zone at 78.

7/17/18: 2019 CIF/RHP hits from the right side. Wide crouched setup in the box, uses toe tap towards back foot as trigger. Hands go directly to the baseball. Bat path is uphill through the zone. Showed good bat speed during round of BP, posted an exit velo of 89. Showed line drive ability to the gaps. In the field showed good actions playing through the baseball, exchange was clean and easy, throws showed some carry across the diamond at 85. On the mound pitches strictly from the stretch. Arm slot is high ¾ slot. Glove stick at separation with stab action straight back. Arm stroke is short and quick. FB sat 84-85 with occasional life. Cb showed 11/5 shape with late break at 73-74. Showed feel for a CH at 78-80 with proper fade action.
