2/26/17:  The 5-foot-11, 165 pound catcher hits from a balanced setup with a short, smooth load.  Average bat speed with a long path to the ball.  Produced hard contact.    Partial usage of lower half.  High exit velocity of 78.  Behind the plate, Ewen has a short, high 3/4 arm action.  Transfer is long, clean.  Footwork gets heavy at times.  Throws topped at 71, producing pop times between 2.11-2.26.
